A unique opportunity for Columbia students to learn about these remarkable young scholars from around the world.
This event offers Columbia students the opportunity to meet this year's cohort of Obama Foundation Scholars and explore how they have used leadership, innovation, and collaboration to drive meaningful impact worldwide.
Each year, the Obama Foundation Scholars at Columbia University collaborate with researchers, faculty, and community partners to create practical solutions for real-world challenges. Through their immersive on-campus experience, Scholars engage in experiential learning, including seminars, audited coursework, professional development workshops, faculty partnerships, networking, and more.
This event will feature an introduction from Melanie J. Bernitz, interim executive vice president for University Life and senior vice president for Columbia Health. It will be moderated by Loftin Flowers, vice president for Government and Community Affairs.
A Q&A will follow. Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
