Global Perspectives on the Carbon Markets

An expert panel will discuss the future of carbon markets and their role in advancing global energy transition at this in-person event in São Paulo. The convening of leading academics, policymakers, and industry experts will feature a keynote speech from Columbia Climate School Dean Alexis Abramson.

Discussions will offer strategic insights into the governance, integrity, and design of carbon markets from both global and Brazilian perspectives, aiming to fostering dialogue, collaboration, and actionable ideas.

The event will be hosted by Columbia Global Center Rio, Insper, and the Center on Global Energy Policy.
